Do you know how to wear a swimming goggles correctly and safely?

In the norms of ISO 18527-3:2020, it demonstrates the following safe and correct way to wear a swimming goggles.

To clear water from the eyewear or to adjust eyewear, take a firm grip on the eyecup and tilt the lower edge of the eyecup slightly away from the face.

To remove the eyewear, put thumbs under the headband at the side of the head. Slide thumbs to back of head and lift the headband from the back to the front of the head.

It is recommended that teachers, coaches or mature swimmers demonstrate this method to young children.

WARNING — Never pull eyecups away from face as they may spring back and cause eye damage.
